What you need

1 can (15 ounces) garbanzo beans, rinsed, drained, and mashed with a fork
2 dashes cayenne pepper
1 tsp. minced garlic from a jar
juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp. Kosher salt
1 tbsp. olive oil
½ cup sun-dried tomatoes with Italian herbs (I used Bella Sun Luci)
2 tablespoons tahini (sesame paste)
1 teaspoon reduced-sodium tamari
¼ cup water

How to do it

1. Put garlic, tahini, water, lemon juice, tamari, olive, salt and sun-dried tomatoes in blender or food processor.

2. Add garbanzo beans last.Pulse or process until thoroughly mixed.

3. Serve with vegetable dippers.Makes about 2 cups hummus.
